Organizer of Sakulanguage, Mika was born and raised in Tokyo.
After working as a magazine editor, she moved to New York City. She has vast knowledge and expertise in tutoring Japanese and translating English into Japanese both in Japan and the United States. Through her experiences of learning singing,
especially opera arias and Japanese traditional songs, and acting in musicals,
